Matrix shows all projects for each resource

Hi,

for security reasons i had to blur most information.

So I have a Matrix at the bottom of the page. Here i want to visualize the workload per ressource. If you open the Resource by clicking on the little plus beside it you get the list of projects where (ideally) the resource is assigned to. This worked in the beginning, but now it shows all available projects, whether or not the ressource is assigned to it. How do i resolve this?
Resources[ResourceName]

Projects[ProjectName]

Thank you very much for your help! 🙂

  • The reason that happens is because you have a measure (I'm guessing is the CAP one by observation) that returns an outcome for every row, thus you end up having that 6.40 in each row/project. Please share the logic behind that.

    For the meantime, if you remove it, you'll get a temporal fix.

    Other temporal solution which I don't fully recommend as there might be valid cases, is for you to filter the matrix with the filters pane for your matrix to include all values where the Actuals field "is not blank".

      Hi, ray_aramburo
      thank you for your answer so far.

      This is the Code for "CAP".

      CAP = sum(ResourceTimephased[Capacity])
      The capacity column displays the capacity per resource per workday in hours.

        It is strange that it's the same for everyone. Do your values and rows come from different tables? Now it seems more like a relationship issue.
