Hello,
I have a problem related to a visual level filter not working with matrix. Below is a referral screen capture.
Now, I have some questionnaire data here. I have filtered out question data that does not have over 4 answers, for privacy issues.
Filter is on both visuals at visual level and comes from a measure.
The problem here is that the bar chart is filtered by a slicer to show 2022 data. The matrix is not affected by the year slicer, so that it would show all years that have data for comparison. When I make the matrix show only 2022 year, the average amount is correct in both visuals but with 2021 and 2022 the amount is not the same.
So, the visual level filter for under 4 answers is not working on the matrix when I make it show all years and this makes the average amounts different.
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks!
Hi, @Janoshz
Could you please consider sharing more details about it and posting expected result so it is clear on what needs to be implemented? And It would be great if there is a sample file without any sesentive information here.
It makes it easier to give you a solution.

Hi @Janoshz ,
Not really sure if I understand the full question, if you bar chart is affected by the slicer but the matrix not then you have different level of comparisions.
Do you want to have the calculation on the bar chart based on the last year selected? is that it? Because what I see is that the value is making the average for the selected years in the slicer.
