Matrix missing "Alignment" option for fields or Column Headers

I'm not able to reproduce your issue. The alignment can be changed in the column header formatting section as below:
Please update power bi desktop to the latest version and check if this issue persists.

There an an alighment option under column headers and there is one under field formatting for each value.

Yes VasTg there is sometimes.. but there's not now. It may have something to do with what data types I'm using? I know different features are available or unavailable dependent on data types, categorical/continuous x axis or whatever so maybe there is something I am needing to adjust elsewhere to make this feature appear. As I mentioned.. I HAVE used this alignment feature before but not sure what is different now that is not allowing that feature to be usable.
