I've got a variable calculated Matrix where within the same column I get the sum of different GL account values, % of revenue, hours, and $ per hour measures. I've got the report set up to run Year To Date and Prior Year to Date. I'd like to add a Current Month and Current Month Prior Year as additional columns to that matrix. Currently, I can run a separate Matrix with those measures with no problem, but when I attempt to add the two additional measures (and effectively additional columns) I get an error about exceeding resources. I'm very new to report building in Power BI, so can't tell if this has something to do with the measures being built inefficiently or if something else is happening. See below for a screenshot of the two visuals side by side.
This is usually an issue with your measure, yeah. Tables and matrixes are comparatively very slow and will run out of resources more often than a chart, too, so you need to try to optimize it. It could also be an issue in your relationships.
