Hi,
I'd like to show values in a matrix and not a summary or a count. I just want to show the values.
On the left, I've a matrix and on the right, I've a table. I'd like the values to be shown in the matrix as in the table.
The data type of sorting is whole number and the default summarization is don't summarize.
Thanks for any help.
Hi All,
I have a matrix which looks this in Power BI.
The columns comes from making selection to parameters on the right.
I would like for it go look like this:
In simple words, I want to summarize that matrix in aggregating the total number of stores which are increasing, decreasing, above performance category or below perfomance category. Sort of a 3*3 matrix which aggregates and gives me the count of stores that fall in each buckets.
Thanks,
NiravRL
HI @Anonymous,
Matrix is used to group and aggregate records based on row/column categories. It does not support to use as table visual to display "not summarize" records.
For your requirement, I'd like to suggest you use table visuals or add more categories to matrix visual category to expand summarize records.(e.g. index)

Thank you.
The data I have looks this:
I would like for it go look like this:
What would be the best way to go?
Hi @Anonymous,
I'd like to suggest you create a matrix visual with 'category' and 'name' to rows, 'year' to the columns, 'should', 'current' to values and drill each category fields to 'bottom' level to expand all records.
If your records still summarize, you can consider add more row categories and drill them to split summarize records values.
Drill mode in a visual in Power BI

Matrix behave like pivot tables in Excel. Unless there is a differentiating field, it will collapse into a summary.
Either add another field or switch to a table.
