I have a Matrix visual of which I'm showing values of hours against columns that have a week ending date. If I set the week ending date to use a Date Hierarchy of Year and Month, why is only the Year showing up?
In my example below, it should be showing numerous months between 2022 and 2023, but only the Year is showing up. How can I fix this to show the Month and Year grouped together?

Thanks @vicky_ , but that didn't work for me. For some reason it was not enabled and I couldn't click it.
However, I did right-click inside the Matrix visual and clicked "Expand to next level". This seemed to then show the Month in the columns.
Dear Microsoft: Please make this be part of the visual Properties along with everything else so this is easier to find and set.
This has to do with heirarchies. You need to expand the heirarchy- hover over the graph and click the upside down fork one:

I'm glad you found a solution that worked for you. I do agree that there are too many hidden features in Power BI haha.
