I've searched Power BI posts, ChatGPT, and Google, but couldn't find a way to switch the view of columns and values in a matrix visual. I tried with calculation groups and field parameters, but that only works on the measures and i need the column for "Sesame Character" at the top of the matrix. Has anyone found a workaround?
FYI: The "Sesame Character" is a table column with three dimensions. The "Likes" and "YoY" values are measures. I am sorry that I cannot share the real dataset, but it's a large one with sensitive financial company data.
Any kind of help would be highly appreciated! 🤗
Doesn't it just use the order that they're arranged in the columns well? Definitely try dropping the other on top and see if that does it, but you sound like you've been working on this a while so you may have already tried that. 🙂
Yes, I expected this as well, but unfortunately it is not possible to drop the Values on top of the Column 😕
Ohhh, that does make sense... I'm not sure then, other than potentially using a custom visual.
