Hello,
Issue: I have a matrix where the individual columns do not equal the total amount on the matrix. The issue is occurring when there is no Department associated with a Project.
Details: The matrix is pulling from three tables:
Again, the reason for the difference (between the line items and the total on the matrix) is that the projects, which have no department value, are not showing up as a row on the matrix. Tried selecting “Show Items with No Value” option on the matrix, but this doesn’t resolve the issue. I have also tried adding a “… + 0” to the measure which shows the hours, but this also doesn’t resolve the issue. It feels like I perhaps need to create a measure for Department Name, which assigns a value, such as “No Assigned Department”, in order for the department-less hours to show up on the matrix, but not sure how to do this?
Hi @Anonymous
Without a PBIX this is difficult for me to fix but there is fantastic video on the subject here.
