Matrix Visual - Expand all for single row at once

Hi,

Could you please suggest a work around or if it is possible in Matrix visiual to expand the whole row at once without clicking on the + symbol for every data.

For example:

+ Project -> Here if we click on the + symbol , it should show the rest of the columns data like Project manager| Resource Name

It should be like:

+ Project| Project Manager| Resource Name| Resource Manager.

Instead of clicking every time + button for every field like

+Project|

               +Project manager|

                                             +Resource name|

                                                                          + Resource Manager

It should show all the details when we expand the + symbol near Project name.

Thanks!!

  • Hello Anonymous,

The default behavior of the Matrix visual is to expand rows individually by clicking on the "+" symbol. If you want to show all the details for a row at once without expanding each individual field, there is a workaround you can try using the "Expand All" feature.

    1. In the "Visualizations" pane on the right side, navigate to the "Format" section (paint roller icon).
    2. Expand the "Row headers" section.
    3. Enable the "Allow expand/collapse all" option.
    4. Once you enable the "Allow expand/collapse all" option, you will see a new button with arrows pointing in opposite directions

Let me know if you might require any further assistance.
