Matrix Sort by date descending cant get to work

Hi Everyone,

I have a matrix like the below which the dates are in columns, the dates come from a calendar table which has a day of year column and a index column and connected to my data , I have tried to use the index column as a sort by column and it doesnt change the way it is sorted, I want this to be sorted descending so the latest date is first

Hi, @dancostin1990 ;

First you could add index  column with the latest date of 1, then 2, and push back in order.

Then sort by index column.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-sort-by-column

The final output is shown below:

Can you provide some sample data?  Drop your pbix into Google Cloud and provide a link to share it (after anonymizing anything sensitive)?

Hi @dancostin1990 I'm assuming that hovering over the three dots on the top right of the matrix and checked the sort by?

Yes tried that and unfortunately didn't sort or do anything 😕
