To disable the highlight ,you can turn to what have suggested by @MFelix  to change the interactions between the visuals,here is the reference.

As for the inaccurate showing in table,you should click on the row in the matrix where the value is fixed one,not from a measure or an aggregated way.
If the error still exists, show me the screenshots of the expected output and the actual output better with the related .pbix file.
