Hi everybody,
For a while now I am struggling with an issue in my report. I am creating an overview to monitor supply and demand of people in my organization. So, on the one side I am mapping all the activities in my organization and connecting task codes and the necessary FTe's to cover this activity. And on the other hand I am connecting these task codes to my employee list and note how many FTe these people actually spend on their activities. Sometimes there are multiple people on a single activity, and i can't get my tables right. As you can see in the screenshot below the total's are correct, but on the individual level the values are wrong.
I tried a lot with different calculations and changes in my relation model, but i feel like there must be a DAX formula that can do the trick. Below i present a desired outcome where the de supply is subtracted from the demand on row level and where the result is the amount of Fte that still needs to be fill in (i.e. vacant Fte's).
Is there somebody that has experience with this and has some tips on how to apply DAX to this issue?
Thanks!
Your "FTE on task" column should allow you to calculate the required individual values. Where are you stuck?
