Hi All,
I inherited a data model where some of the columns are marked as identity columns, I understand that it means that the values of this field will not be aggregated.
I added a new table to the model and wanted to mark one of the fields as identity field for consistency, however, I have only found how to do it for date tables - mark them as date table.
So I have a couple of questions:
- how do I mark a field as an identity field if it is not in a date table?
- how do I unmark a field from being an identity field?
- when I mark a table as a date table, it marks both date field and date key fields as an identity fields. How do I make it mark only the date field itself?
I would really appreciate your support.

Hi @itskool
You can only do this in model view
Click on the table and change the Row label and key column
To change it back change back to "Select a row label"
Here is a blog about them:

Thank you! You saved my day, this was driving me crazy.
I clicked on columns for an hour, didn't even cross my mind to click on the table.
Regarding the second point, I got it now, Power BI marked on column as row label and another one as key column, I changed that so it's just one column.
Thanks again!
@itskool I'm not sure what you mean by the 3rd part, when I mark a date field it looks like this:
