Hi community!
We have a mariadb running on linux. For security reasons I created a user that can only connect from one ip (Server1).
On Server1 I have installed an onpremise data gateway.
Is it possible to connect PowerBI Desktop on my client pc with the mariadb using the gateway?
At the moment, the only way to connect is running Power BI Desktop on the Server1. But I need a connection for updating the dashboard in the future.
Thanks for your help!
Steffen

@SteffenH82 , Power BI desktop can not use on premise gateway. But you can publish reports and use its dataset to create another report on the Power BI desktop. This will allow access without having DB access
