Hi everyone,
I have a dataset that looks like this with 14 regions and 448 addresses:
Address | Region |
100 SIMCOE STREET SOUTH, OSHAWA, CANADA, L1H 4G2 | GTA EAST |
1670 HWY #7A, PORT PERRY, CANADA, L9L 1B5 | GTA EAST |
The address is basically easily mapped out by powerbi perfectly. However I want to try to map the regions to create a hiearchy where I have all the regions on a map then I can drill down to view all the specific addresses in that region. How can I do this when I have regions that cover multiple cities such as in my dataset, with a region name that PBI will not pick up. I do not want to get into complex GIS and use shape maps etc.
Any ideas that could help me show GTA East? I do not want to use city names since 5-6 cities are covered across regions.
@Anonymous , Not sure I got. But in this case, you might need a city column too.
Not trying to use City column. I am trying to see if maybe the Switch Function in a measure might be an alternative?
