Mapping Cities in New York
Hi all,
I'm trying to map create a map of cities using an official USPS zip code to City cross reference file.
I've come across an issue where several of the places I'm trying to map are shown in the wrong location. For example, it's showing Wyandanch, a hamlet of New York, in an incorrect location along with North Babylon, West Babylon, Lindenhurst, and others, see below:
How PowerBI maps Wyandanch:
Wyandanch is a hamlet of the town of Babylon, I'm not sure why it's highlighting Wyandanch as being the entirety of Babylon.
Any ideas?

HI ppc_raltandi,
I think zip code should not be suitable for accurate location mappings, I’d like to suggest you refer to the below document about map visual usages tricks to use geo hierarchy structures to help power bi map visuals locate these more correctly.
