Hi, is it possible in PBI to have a filled map (gradient colours according one measure) with bubbles on that (with sized based on anoher measure). I read you need to do both separately and than lay it over with bubbles transparency. I am unfortunately not succesful in that. Can somebody advice how to do that?
You can try Symbol Choropleth map in TMap Visual for Power BI.

Hi @rajendraongole1 , thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I am not able to see the red filled map when I lay the bubble map over it? Maby the bubbles are transparent, but the map is still fully visible so it fully covers the filled map...how should I change that to have visible both?
Hi @Bara_Novotna -Power BI doesn't natively support layering both types on the same map visual out of the box.Layering two map visuals can increase the performance overhead, especially when dealing with large datasets. You may want to limit the data displayed or optimize the queries to ensure smooth interaction.
The workaround you mentioned, involving creating two separate visuals and layering them, like adjusting bubble transparency under the Format Pane > Bubble sizes > Transparency to adjust bubble visibility if you used bubble map. You'll need to carefully align the two visuals on top of each other so that the locations match perfectly. Fine-tuning the X, Y, and size dimensions will ensure proper overlap.
Hope this information helps.
