Hi Bara_Novotna -Power BI doesn't natively support layering both types on the same map visual out of the box.Layering two map visuals can increase the performance overhead, especially when dealing with large datasets. You may want to limit the data displayed or optimize the queries to ensure smooth interaction.
The workaround you mentioned, involving creating two separate visuals and layering them, like adjusting bubble transparency under the Format Pane > Bubble sizes > Transparency to adjust bubble visibility if you used bubble map. You'll need to carefully align the two visuals on top of each other so that the locations match perfectly. Fine-tuning the X, Y, and size dimensions will ensure proper overlap.
