Here I only want to show the map for India. and also only for the ones where the bubble exists. I dont want to show rest all places. how to do so??
Hi @John2, TopoJson is a fromat that allow you to create a custom filled map for PowerBI. You can learn more about it here - Turn Any IMAGE into an INTERACTIVE VISUAL in Power BI - YouTube.
So in a nutshell, PowerBI has a visual called "Filled Map", you can use one of proposed maps to fill interested regions. If a map of your interest is not present there, with TopoJson you can create one. I'm not sure if such trick works for other map visuals...
Coming back to your example I would ask why do you want to use a map? In case there are only 6 data points, many other visuals (table, for instance) can be more useful and provide necessary insights to your users. Good luck! 🙂
Actually this is just practice data. I want to make it such that when I use my companies client data, the result would be useful.
also only for the ones where the bubble exists.
what are "ones" ? States? Cities? Do you have the required TopoJSON shapes for the shape map?
only for the ones mean only for the values I have specified in the column. Here, it is the states of india. I have no idea what TopoJson shapes mean.
