Map language display in Power BI Desktop
Hi, Is there a way to change the language in which the map is displayed in PowerBI Desktop? I'm using an English version of PowerBI desktop, but my computer has German locale settings. It see...
I had the same issue and what fixed it was intalling the language I needed in Language System Settings in Windows. Then, when that language was set in my Taskbar, then in Regional Options of Power BI, the map language finally changed. Maybe this helps someone. Cheers!

Hi, I believe it should work, but don`t you have then a problem with date and number format in all apps? e.g. decimal comma appearing as a decimal point and tens of another changes...
It is so frustrating to see the problem still persisting, perhaps somebody in the US still do not understand how important (and sensitive) the issue with geo names shoud be when it isn`t split from the general regional settings...
