Map filter and zoom in the selected value in the map

Hi all,

I have a map os Spain with number of Clients as measure showed for each province as a cloropetic map.

When I select a province from other table in the report, the map zooms the province selected, taht is fine. But, from the initial view in the map, when I select a province on it, the map doesn't zoom in that province, its behaviour is to degrade the color of the other provinces but still show them.

How can I get the behaviour I want?

Hi @bebeto21

You can use the Drill Down feature to see the data in next level of location. But before this, you should have different levels of location data in your model, for example Country, Province. Then put more than one location field into the Location bucket of a map visual to make it geo-hierarchy so that it can be drilled down.

Hi Bebeto,

This should be possible by enabling the "drill mode"  in the visual. It is the second icon in the visual options, the arrow pointing down. When this is enabled you will move down one hierarchy level whenever you click on a location on the map.
