Map Issue with Drill Down - Desktop

Hi Team,

 

Requirement -  region as slicer 
                         Country and city are the two levels of hierarchy on the map chart

 

Help Needed :
lets say one of the region is selected 
Ex : Region "Asia" is selected in the slicer ,in the map we will get countries and cities related to that region and it is drilled down to city level.
Now the user wishes to click on other region "Europe" without having to drill up to country level and then select the region slicer option,the filter selection should reflect on the map visual dynamic.Is there workaround .Please suggest

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    After drilling down on the country of "China", changing the value of the Region slicer from "Asia" to "Europe" will just filter cities of China. So, you get nothing returned.

    I suggest you to use to drill down all fields at once. And then, use Country slicer to filter.
