Map Data Labels - Count Number of Entries Per State

I'm looking to setup a Calculated Column so that when I turn on Category labels for the MAP within PowerBI it displays the name of the State (i.e. Queensland, South Australia), it'll display the name of the State and the Value (how many entries are from that state)

Right now it's showing me the Latitude and Longitude. How could I write a calculated column that would show the State (i.e. Queensland: 27) instead of the Lat & Long

I know the first part would be something along the line of

[value.SchoolState] & ":  " & "Whatever the formula is here"

Thanks!

Found out how to accomplish this!

So if you are attempting to calculate values outside of it being a number there is a way to do this.

Number of Submissions Per State =
'All Applicants'[SchoolState] & ": " &
CALCULATE(COUNTA('All Applicants'[SchoolState]),
ALLEXCEPT('All Applicants', 'All Applicants'[SchoolState]))

This in turn will calculate the number of times a particular item shows up within that State, Employee, Location etc.
