Many to one relationships | Error : Can't determine the relationship between two or more fields

I am trying to create a table visual with data pulled from 2 different tables. Both the tables have a column called CHARG, with dulicate values. Therefore, since I cannot have a many-many relationship, I built a third table with all values for CHARG and then linked the aforementioned 2 tables to the third table. Following is the model I've built. However, when I try to populate the visual with values from both the tables, I get an error - Can't display data because PBI can't determine the relationship between 2 or more fields.

Can someone help me understand why this is happening and what can be done to avoid this error, please?

Thanks in advance!

Update : I tried changing the cross filter direction to 'Both' and it still wouldn't work. Also, the values that I am trying to display on the table - when I try to show them as a Count of, then I am getting values in the visual. However, my usecase requires a 'Do not summarize' operation.

@Anonymous,

You may use Merge Queries (Table.NestedJoin) in Query Editor.

i have a same problem...any solution? i did try the merge query ...and its just a join and it works.....but what is the point of creating relationship then? why use many to many and all other relationship. WIthout any relationships we can just use different types of join right.... i still dont understand why create relationship?

@Anonymous you are on right track and which visual you are using, make sure you are using CHARG field  from your bridge table.

@parry2k - I am trying to build a table visual. I did use the column from the bridge table and it still did not work.

@Anonymous,

@v-chuncz-msft - Hey Sam. Thanks for responding.  Did you mean to tell ' merge all 3 tables?

@Anonymous,

You may just merge the original two tables.
