Many to many relationships - same as the new tabular model?

Will the modelling of data include the new upgraded tabular many to many functionality as mentioned in the release notes of SQL Server 2016?

In Excel 2016 you can apply the CROSSFILTER function to enable the bidirectional filter on a specific relationship (just as you change active relationship today with USERELATIONSHIP), but you will not able to enable bidirectional crossfilter in the data model like you do in Power BI Designer.

Would Power Pivot get the same to be in feature parity with Power BI Designer?
