Hello,
I have a dataset with combined data load (import and direct query). I want to create a m:n relationship between to tables. But it is not possible because Power BI tells me that a dublicated value exists in my "1"-side table. But I don't want to create 1:n relationship. I cannot create this relationship, I tried the drop down way and I tried to create the relationship in the "create relationship" window.
Here is a screenshot:
Did anyone face a similiar issue? Is there a fix?

@synMo , You should be able to create m-m relation. Please delete any existing join between these two tables. Make sure the data type of the columns is the same. and then try again

Okay thank you. I deleted all relationships to the direct query table and now it works. The error message was a bit confusing when I was using a m:n relationship.
