Manage Roles, Share Dash Board/Report

Hello everyone

I need your help, I' m new in PowerBI.

I have built a query, which is clean, however, I want that only the owners
of the records see the diagram/report of itself, not the oher colleagues.

This should actually work on roles, but I don't get it.

Here are 2 screenshots, where you can see which tables are joined, the role
I have placed on the system user and there username() = "Domain Name" is set.
The person then passed the role on the Web at the address. Unfortunately, the user gets

still all displayed.

Can you help me here?

Greetings and thank you

Kai

    HI Anonymous,

First, I found each tables linked other with single relationship, I recommend you to modify them first.(for single relationship, filter effect only work on one side)

Second, I'd like to suggest you to turn on apply security filter option on relationship manager.

In addition, please compare your column and username function if they don't have same value.

    RLS with UserName()

BTW, after setting RLS formula, have your choose view as role option to enable RLS filter effect?

If not, please take a look at following official document to know how to setting and use RLS.

Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI
