Manage Roles Not Working When connected to Power BI dataset
Hi Expert
Kindly please advised what can I do, I connected to live powerbi dataset and I want to create row-level security and I cannot click the manage roles, is there any other option I can do it, I would really appreciate if someone can provide me with more details of how I can go about to do it.

Hello,
You need first to download the dataset and use power bi desktop and set the row-level security then publish it to service and apply it to the dataset from the dataset security settings.

Only Import and DirectQuery connections are supported. Live connections to Analysis Services are handled in the on-premises model.Please check the Row-level security's Considerations and limitations
