Make a flow that sends a Dynamic RLS report as a paginated report to end-users
Hi
I have been struggling with this for a long time. A have a report, with Dynamic Row Level Security according to the email of the end-user. I need to send it to the end-users as a PDF and it is very important, that they can only see their own data.
@mahoneypat suggested that I made a simple Paginated Report and used this in a flow that created a PDF. However, now, I need to use Row Level Security and I have not figured out a way to keep it in the Paginated Report. Especially because now the end-users should not log into the Power BI report, they should just receive the PDF with their data.
How should I do this? I have +40 end-users.

Hi Rose__123 ,
I have used Export to File for paginated reports action in the Power bi connector to send a paginated report as an attachment to a user(not having RLS functionality) with Microsoft Power Automate. This also supports role level security . I would suggest you can test this outPower BI - Connectors | Microsoft Docs
Please accept this as a solution if your question has been answered !!
Appreciate a Kudos 😀

Hello,
Can I get further explanation on this? How exactly would this change what can be used depending on the user email?
For example:I have multiple users who should only be able to see 3 or 4 projects and other users that can see all Projects. How does the Row Level Security get picked up from simply selectiung a Paginated Report?
