Make a Row header be a URL in a Matrix
I have a matrix (see screenshot as an example). The first three fields make up the row headers. I would like to make the 'As of Date' field be a clickable link (still showing the date) so that when someone clicks on it, they are navigated to an Excel file on Sharepoint based on the Country and As of Date combination (i.e, there's a separate link for each country and as of date combination). Is it possible to make a row header (i.e, the As of Date) be a clickable link and still have the displayed text show the date value instead of a link icon? I have seen where it can work if the as of date were added to the Values of the matrix and then you change the data type to web url, but I don't want that. I want to keep the matrix looking just as is but make the as of date be a clickable url.
Hi ldwf
Conditional formatting on matrix column and row headers is not currently supported so you cannot conditionally formatted as of date as a url. You'll need to add the url column to the header that's been categorized as Web URL and then make sure to enable URL Icon.
If it makese sense, you can conditionally format the values themselves.

Hi ldwf ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Power BI does not support conditional formatting of matrix row headers, so it's not possible to make the “As of Date” row header a clickable hyperlink directly while keeping the date visible as text. Please go through the below documentation:
Add hyperlinks (URLs) to a table or matrix - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
