Make Visual-on-Visual filtering, behave like Filter-on-Visual filtering.

Sorry for the terrible title. 

 

When you fitler a visual by another visual, the filtered data is still shown, with the unfiltered data highlighted. 

See below where a matrix visual, is being used to filter a graph visual.

Is there a way to make Visual-on-Visual filtering, behave like a 'normal' filter would?  normal meaning - the filtered data isn't displayed at all, as below:

@mmace1 , Slicer to visual setting is by default filter and Visual to visual(Like bar etc) is fill.

You can change it using edit interactions  - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-reports-visual-interactions
