Maintaining trend line in bubble charts?

Currently it's possible to have a trend line on a scatter chart, but if you add fields to Size and convert it into a bubble chart, the trend lins is no longer available. Is there a way to keep this trend line based on the x/y axis value even when using it as a bubble chart?

Hi @brianscott0001,

As parry2k said, current power bi only supports to analysis trend line on base visual graphs.

For analysis of the advanced visual graphs, you can try to write a measure to manually calculate the value as a trend or use R visual to manually plot the scatter graph based on corresponding R packages.

@brianscott0001 if these options disappears I guess there is no way to assign bubble size and also use trendline. Maybe add this as an idea.

Hi, I have the same issue. I want to add a trend line in a scatter plot that I transformed to a bubble chart.
Since these replies date back a year, maybe there is an easier solution by now?
