Maintain Versions in Power BI Services

Dear Team,

Do we have any option to maintain same report but different versions in Power BI Service (O365)

Regards,

Santosh

Hi @Anonymous

I got you.

You should refer to store the historical data in power bi, that's no quick way to access it currently. you might refer to below  threads for more reference:

Hi @Anonymous

what do you mean the "different versions"? eg:  if you'd like to keep the same visuals but different selections in the slicer, you may try to save a copy :

Also, you can share the filtered report:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-share-reports

Or filter the report using the parameter:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-url-filters

Hi Dina Ye,

Am looking for option to mainatin versions

Example; Jan 1st published report ABC

Feb 1st again Published report ABC

so on..

i would need all the versions (1,2,3...) to to be available so that users can refer whenever needed.

In power bi the files get replaced when ever it is publish again with same name, but my requirement is to maintain versions and use the report whenever required.

Regards,

Sam
