I have a workbook that was created by a consultant outside of our organization. that uses SQL and Sharepoint file sources. The file sources were oringally excel files but were successfully changed to the sharepoint locations.
I published the file, but have found that the datasources do not refresh, and no errors are shown by the service, just that no new data loads. The refesh history is showing the on demand refeshes and completed.
In troubleshooting, I have seen some other articles that mention that MFA might be the culprit. I have tried to publish into my own workspace as well, and it also does not refresh there. has anyone found any workarounds other than using a service account?
Currently I have my MFA disabled to see if that makes a difference on the auto-refreshes. But it seems that if it is the issue is MFA that there should be some type of a failure notice.
Anything that I might be missing?
Hi @mmcanirlin ,
Is the scheduled refresh successful after disabling MFA?
Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
