M query dynamic parameter

Iam using power bi Version: 2.115.1006.0 64-bit (March 2023) , currently working on direct import of excel file . I have created the parameter and used in my m query also for filteration, my issue is...

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    According to your statement, I know you get data from excel file by import connection mode.

     

    As far as I know, dynamic M query parameters give model authors more control over the filter selections to incorporate into DirectQuery source queries.

     

    So I think you need to connect to the data source which supports DirectQuery connection mode to use this feature.

Thanks a lot for the answer. Ya , I think thats the reason. I may have to find  a work around which would allow the end user to filter the calculated table as per their selection.
