Looking for a visualization suggestion.
I manage a helpdesk and we get tickets through about 5 different sources (e.g. phone, email, etc). I want to visualize on a horizontal timeline/heatmap of sorts to be able to track when these tickets are created throughout the day. This way I can track our busiest times of day for ticket openings as a whole in addition to each source, this will help me verify current shifts are sufficient or if they need to be tweaked (I always have guys who want to come in earlier/later).
Any assistance with a built-in visualization or a third-party visualization would be greatly appreciated. I'm still a PowerBI noob. Thank you!
I think a simple column chart would get the job done.
Since this is a help desk, you are probably going to want my Open Tickets measure at some point.

I'd probably go with a histogram to start with, use the binning/grouping functionality to create the desired granularity.
Examples here- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/service-histograms & here http://zomalex.co.uk/creating-histograms-in-power-bi/
