Logs for API calls made with Power query
We are using Query Editor to write a query to fetch data from vendor using REST API call. On refresh, when the query executes, it gets stuck in infinite execution. The same REST API call works with postman. We need to analyse this issue with Power BI logs. We followed the link to enable tracing but were not able to get the logs related to the Query execution. Could you please help us to find those logs?

A PowerShell sample is available to help you learn how to filter and retrieve Power BI activity log events. All code fragments and scenarios are annotated with how-to instructions and common gaps or issues to watch out for. Two scenarios are covered:
- Retrieve a list of users for specific app.
- Retrieve a list of users for direct report sharing.
You must meet the following requirements:
- Install the Power BI PowerShell modules.
- The user of the PowerShell script must sign in using the Connect-PowerBIServiceAccount cmdlet and enter Power BI admin credentials when prompted. Admin privileges are required to use the Activity Log API.

you could go to File—>Option and Settings—>Options—>Diagnostics—>tick the Enable tracing —> Open traces folder, then you will find the Power BI log files.
If it still does not help, please provide more details.

We tried looking at the diagnostic logs generated by Query Diagnostics - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/querydiagnostics, but we are only able to get the URL and Request query. Is there any way we can get the actual response obtained from the API call, so we can use it to debug our issue?Hi Dhyey29 ,
