Login Count in Desktop

Hello,

I have a requirement where ,every time I open the .pbix file in Desktop, a record must be inserted in DB or in Power BI created table.

Is this possible??

    Not unless your IT department has installed one of these creepy "Activity trackers" . Didn't Microsoft fall flat on its face recently with one of these Performance Tracker things? Ah, it was "Productivity Score" - what a boneheaded idea.

    Anyway tell whoever raised that requirement to re-read the Standards of Business Conduct rules, and the employment contracts, and then to retract the requirement.
