Lock sort axis to X

Hi,

I have created a column chart where I have created a new fields parameter that allows a selection to be made in a slicer so the x axis data field changes depending on what is selected in the slicer. This works really well except for that when I make a selection in the slicer the axis sorting, in the column chart, defaults back to sort by Y axis rather than X. 

I have changed the axis sorting to sort by the X axis by clicking the three dots > sort axis > X axis  > sort ascending, and it sorts it how I want, but if I make a new selection in the slicer it defaulst back to sorting by Y axis. 

Is there anyway to lock the view of the chart so it remains at sorting by X axis > acsending when using a field parameter?
