Local Model / Direct Query Shared Report & DAX Measures not Respecting RLS
We've created a report on our desktop insatnce from a shared dataset and we've also imported an external table. The external table has been joined / related to the primary hub / fact table. We've applied RLS to the external table which works fine with core hub fields and values. However, if we create a custom measure within the hub table, RLS does not get applied. Does anyone know if this is a known issue?

RLS rules will be applied on the source on which they are defined, but will not be applied to any other datasets in the model. RLS defined in the report will not be applied to remote sources, and RLS set on remote sources will not be applied to other data sources.

Thanks. Odd that RLS does work for core fields but does not work for any custom measures within the same table under the described model.
