Loading data from folder and add new column with Path Folder

Hi,

I need help to load data from folder and add new columns with folder path.

I have a folder [C:\Report] and subfolders [Joe, Mike, Paul]:

FolderFolder

In each subfolder I have a Excel file as a report.

filefile

In each Excel file I have just two columns (with different values):

contentscontents

I imported the folder and combined the Excel files:

folder importedfolder imported

files combinedfiles combined

Now, I need a new column in the table that was combined with Path Folder:

new columnnew column

Thanks for any help.

Hi @MRBranco ,

Just select 'Removed Other Columns1' step in Applied steps and click the 'Folder Path' field to get the result:

@MRBranco paste the M code from advanced editor, probably one of the steps has removed the column and in tht step you should not remove this path column and that will do it.
