Loading a Dimension Table as a direct query
Hello,
I am trying to load a dimension table as a direct query. The fact table will still be an imported query and so I dont want to change the data source settings to import, but the dimension table would be direct query. The dimension table is not related to the fact table.
I have enabled the DirectQuery for PBI and AS option, but when I select the table in Power BI Desktop, go to Storage under Advance Properties the Direct Query option is greyed out. Has anyone encountered this issue?

newpbiuser01 , Import can not be converted into direct query. You have to add the table again as direct query
