Load balancing + Enterprise gateway

Hello,   My Power BI report uses enterprise gateways to get data from on-prem DBs. Is load balancing possible in Power BI with enterprise gateways? Is it handled internally by Power BI application?...

As far as I know, it does not support load balance out of the box. You can try the alternative introduced in this blog to see if it helps.

There is also an existing idea here and you can vote it.
