Live location update from Google maps

Hi,

I have been tasked to develop a dashboard with a map visual which will capture the live location status of important consignments ( only )  which is being shipped to different continents. Request your guidance on how to make this happen

Not sure which part Google maps plays here, but put the received location data into a data source that can be accessed via Direct Query (for example SQL Server).  Then in Power BI connect to that data source in Direct Query.  If that is not possible, use Import mode with frequent refreshes (once every 10 minutes for example).

NOTE:  Unless you create a dashboard from your report (or you set up auto page refresh)  your users will not see the changes unless they interact with the report .
