Live data in Power BI?
We investigate whether we can use power BI as a tool for our customers. We have the following criteria:
1. The dashboard must contain live data and be updated every minute
2. Our customer has a head office and branches. Both must be provided with data and their own KPI dashboard, but the branches can not see the head office data.
Does Power BI provide for this? I could not find it directly in the description
I think PowerBI will be come across your requirements. To answer your questions:
1. PowerBI has many different levels of "real-time" and it all depends hugely on the datasource. E.g. if you decided to go with Analysis Services the data would always be live. I do not know the details of your case but try looking at Live Connection and Streaming.
2. It is possible - look at Row Level Security.
