Live connection and static Excel file

Hi folks, not sure if anybody can help me.  I have a PBI file with a live connection to a data cube.  I need to import a static Excel file that contains various sales targets and connect them.  Is this possible?  I have seen Direct Query mode as a possible solution, but it appears this is not possible with the cube that I am using.

 

If anybody has any suggestions, I would be forward grateful! 🙂

    Consider connecting to the cube in Import mode (yes, blasphemy, I know).

    Hello all,

     

    My customers use Power BI Datasets through Excel Application, not with Power BI Reports.

    Datasets are in the same Workspace. 

    i'm finding a way to collect connexion statistics by users and date for a dataset.  

    Do you know how i can do that ?

    Currently I use the Premium capacity usage report, but information are not engough (only connexion without distinct)
