List All Data Source for all tables used

Hi All,

I have a single report I am working with and I am being tasked with outlining all the data sources that are being used for each table in the report. How can I do this without clicking on one one by one?

Secondly, some of the tables are coming from dataverse and some of the tables created within powerbi that then are using another table that then uses a dataverse table as its source. How can I change this so it skips that second table and goes straight to the dataverse table?

Thank all for the help!

    Hi Anonymous ,

As far as I know, Power BI doesn't support us to list the data source for each table currently.

I think Power BI only support us to check the data source in Data source setting. If you want to know which data source this table used, you need to check the Advanced Editor in Power Query Editor.

Here I will give you some suggestion. I think you can format the table name as datasource_tablename1 and then you don't need to check in Power Quert Editor everytime.

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently.
You can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI.
