Linking decomposition tree to bar chart's x-axis

Hi!

I'm fairly new to PowerBI so please bear with me.

I have one table with sales for of various products. On each line there the sales amount, category level 1 and category level 2. I've created a decomposition tree showing the sales of various category combinations and a bar-chart showing the sales for each category level 2.

Now for my question; I want to add the functionality so that when I click a "category level 1" value in my decomposition tree, only the category level 2 values in that category are shown in my bar chart.

For example:

Note that in the figure above, I want the "Carrot", "Cucumber" and "Potato" bars to be hidden when I've clicked "Fruit" in the decomposition tree

Hi @sman , Easy solution to this! You need to use the Edit Iteractions feature to change the way the Decomposition Tree interacts with the Bar Chart. Currently it is cross highlighting you want it to Filter. To change this do the following:

1. Select the Decomposition Tree

2. Under Format select Edit Iteractions

3. Change the option highlighted on bar chart to Filter

4. It should filter out the other options.
