Linkedin data

Hi commity,

I was wondering if there could be a way to be able to analyze that activity happened in a Company Linkedin profile where I'm admin (I'm not interested in my personal profile data, only the company profile data).

I've tried to use the Linkedin Insights app but I couldn't make it work propertly, although it has too much data that I won't ever need. Ideally I would need a way to build my own connector from Power BI Desktop.

Thanks for your support!

Hi @Anonymous Since there’s no built-in connector for Linkedin to PBI, you will have to look for another way. As a workaround, maybe you can use a 3rd party connector, it can save you a lot of time compared to the other options. I use windsor.ai to pull my Linkedin Organic data and it works really smooth. Hope it helps

Hi @ReportBuilder07 - are you able to pull post on Windsor? If so, can you share how? Thank you

Great to have you in the community! Analyzing the activity on your company's LinkedIn profile is indeed a valuable way to gain insights. If the LinkedIn Insights app didn't work out for you, building your connector from Power BI Desktop sounds like a solid plan! To create your connector, you can explore LinkedIn's developer resources, including their APIs and documentation. It might require some technical know-how, but it's a powerful way to customize the data you need for your company profile analysis. By the way, if you're ever interested in LinkedIn accounts, this website offers to Buy Linkedin Accounts. They have some useful info that might come in handy.

Hi @amitchandak, ideally I'm looking for a connection to the Linkedin API without having to export the data and upload a CSV file to Power BI Desktop. Do you have any insights on how to do that?
