LinkedIn Sales Navigator Refresh Timeout Issue – Possible Service-Side Problem?

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a persistent refresh timeout issue with the built-in LinkedIn Sales Navigator connector in Power BI. Regardless of whether I'm using Power BI Desktop or the web version—and across both Windows and macOS—I've encountered the same problem. Even after creating a new file, removing and re-adding the login credentials, the connection simply times out.

What I've Tried:

  • Tested with different Power BI files (including entirely new reports)
  • Deleted and re-authenticated my login credentials
  • Tried both the web and desktop versions
  • Tested on both Windows and Mac platforms (results are identical)

Based on these troubleshooting steps, I suspect the issue might be on Microsoft's end (e.g., an API change or a temporary service-side outage). Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are there any official announcements or workarounds available?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Unfortunately, due to the environment and the fact that this involves a third party data source connection, I am unable to reproduce your issue. I hope my suggested recommendations below will help you:
    1. Check the Power BI version: Make sure you are using the latest version of Power BI and the LinkedIn Sales Navigator connector. Older versions may have bugs that have been fixed. Cache and authentication issues: Sometimes cached or authenticated information can cause connection issues. Clearing the cache and re-authenticating may help.

    You mentioned that the server connection timed out and that LinkedIn Sales Navigator may have a temporary service outage or maintenance. You can check LinkedIn's Service Status page
